Our shop and cafe is the public face of Australia HOPE International.
Most of our delicious food is made on the premises. A couple of our specialties are African lamb stew and African Chai Latte which is derived from a traditional Ugandan recipe made with real ginger and a Chai Masala Mix brought in, especially from Uganda.
Years ago pasties were made here in a large wood stove when people travelling from Adelaide to the Murray Bridge races called in on their way, and then, called in on their way home for another hot pasty!
And today, our customers still call in for Norma’s great pasties to take home for a weekend meal.
