Sponsorship stories

Sponsor a child, class or widow and make a real difference to their future.

Juliet

When rescued as a small girl and through sponsorship is now progressing through a HOPE School and living in the House of Hope Safe House where she cooks, tends the food garden, a piggery, rabbit farm and chickens. She also learns tailoring and proudly wears the new uniform she made.

Brian

Brian was found on the streets as a small boy by our partner Willy Tumwine and lived in the Boy’s Home. Child sponsorship ensured Brian attended school, then University studying Electrical / Electronics and now music. He is an accomplished saxophonist in great demand in churches and formal occasions. He also runs his own electrical repair and service shop, as well as helping manage the Boys Home for street boys.

Ritah

Ritah was found by our partner Willy Tumwine – RWC Children’s Trust as a small child in a desperate situation.

But thanks to generous and faithful sponsors, Ritah progressed through primary school, secondary school and then winning a scholarship to the US where she studied a Bachelor of Health and Medical Sciences – Major in Public Health at Arizona State University and then studied in a Master’s of Science in Computer Science (Msc.CS) at Austin Peay State University.

Ritah rightly says… “Congratulations to me, I am very excited to achieving this milestone of a MASTERS of Science degree in COMPUTER SCIENCE with HONORS (first class)”
